Neighborly Rideshare operates as a software-driven driver-matching platform that connects community members with qualified, independent rideshare drivers. While we do not provide transportation services ourselves, our appointment-based system reliably matches riders with available local drivers, supporting both convenience and community-centered mobility within the areas we serve.
We offer three main ride options for our client:
Ride Later
(Formerly Standard)
Request a rideshare hours in advance same day or up to 48 hr (2-days max)! This advance service includes round trips and multi-stops (1 stops max).
Ride Now
(Formerly Standard)
Request a rideshare immediately! This on demand service includes round trips and multi-stops (1 stop max). Terms and condition
Ride Weekly
(Formerly Premium)
Request weekly subscription rides up to seven days a week, without the need to interact with our booking software on a daily basis.

Pricing is automatically calculated by the software based on the estimated ride duration using Google Maps.
Independent drivers who accept ride assignments through the platform agree to these standard rates unless they choose to provide an alternative offer.

Where Our Platform Connects Drivers and Riders
Neighborly Rideshare connects riders with independent drivers within Bloomington-Normal, IL and select nearby communities located within approximately 15 minutes of city limits.

How do I have the best experience with Neighborly Rideshare?
We highly recommend that customers be proactive with booking rides on our service. If you're booking for work, school, or appointments; our 48 Hour in Advance Rideshare Standard and Rideshare Premium service is our most reliable and efficient services.
Does Neighborly Rideshare rent out vehicles?
Nope.
Do you accept cash payments?
Neighborly Rideshare does not accept or process cash for platform-arranged trips. All payments must be completed electronically for security and compliance. Drivers are independent contractors and may conduct their own business outside the platform at their discretion.
Is Neighborly Rideshare safe?
Yes! All of our drivers go through an extensive vetting process and must be a resident of Bloomington-Normal for at least 2 years, and must pass a national & state background check.
Each of our vehicles are equipped with front, cabin, and rear facing cameras to document interactions.
